Terms of Service

iCalSync lets property managers connect iCal feeds from booking platforms (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, and any other source that exports a valid iCal feed) to a property, and publishes a single combined feed back out so every platform stays aware of bookings made on the others.

iCalSync reduces the risk of double bookings by syncing calendars on a schedule tied to your plan. It does not eliminate that risk entirely: sync happens on an interval, not instantly, and a booking made on two platforms within the same sync window can still result in the same dates being booked on more than one platform before either feed reflects the other. A plain iCal feed does not carry enough information for iCalSync to reliably tell a genuine double booking apart from the normal, brief delay in that propagation, so it does not attempt to make that determination for you. You remain responsible for reviewing your calendars and resolving any double bookings with your guests and platforms directly.

You need an account to use the Service. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be legally able to enter into a contract to create an account.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor, Dodo Payments, who acts as merchant of record for these transactions. iCalSync does not store your full card details.

New accounts get a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start a trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then to avoid being charged. If you don't cancel, billing begins automatically at the end of the trial at the rate for the plan you selected.

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

We may change plan pricing or features going forward. We'll give you notice before a price change affects your existing subscription.

You own the property, calendar, and booking information you add to iCalSync. You're responsible for having the right to connect any iCal feed URL you provide, and for the accuracy of the property information you enter.

iCalSync is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or any other platform. We read the iCal feeds you connect and publish an outbound feed you choose to share; we don't control how any third-party platform processes that feed on its end.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Try to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to bypass rate limits or plan restrictions.
• Reverse engineer the Service except where the law explicitly allows it.
• Resell or provide the Service to others as your own product without our written permission.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

We aim to keep the Service available and syncing reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, upstream outages at our infrastructure providers, or a booking platform changing or breaking its iCal feed can all affect availability or sync accuracy, and are outside our control.

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, iCalSync will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost bookings, or the cost of a double booking, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your profile settings, or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, including for non-payment. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (like Section 7) continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction placeholder], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of [jurisdiction placeholder], unless local law requires otherwise.
